Reservation Agent - Sabre GDS
Our Reservation Agents will be placed in the Air Groups Team through our client “H.I.S Canada Travel Inc” and are responsible for providing group and incentive travel services to a wide range of clients. We are looking for a Reservation Agent who will assist our clients and ensure that all aspects of their group bookings are completed accurately and efficiently. Key Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Responds to requests, prepares price quotations and proposals for domestic and international itineraries and processes bookings while considering all group specific details 2. Ensure client is informed of and represented in all terms and conditions before, during, and after the group air process including their pre-ticketing, policy, reporting, and security procedures 3. Confirm, process, and follow up with accounts payables and receivables to coordinate and complete the reconciliation process with Finance in order to provide customer with detailed and accurate reconciliation document 4. Maintains and promotes professional and courteous client relations by managing a prompt and accurate response to telephone and email communications 5. Accountable for entering data throughout the life of an event in the various technology tools such as Meetings, Project Management, Reservations and Time Tracking Technologies 6. Plan group travel effectively and efficiently through the established standards, and with meticulous attention to detail according to client provided parameters 7. Stay current with supplier and industry trends through attendance of team meetings and supplier onsite and offsite presentations 8. Works in conjunction with the Group air team to meet client defined meeting parameters and proactively escalating client, supplier, or program issues to management for timely resolution.
