Safety Officer

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field -Must be an accredited Safety Officer 3 (SO3) in accordance with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) standards -Completed mandatory 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training plus additional SO3-required certifications -At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction, energy, or industrial projects; experience in renewable energy or BESS projects is an advantage -Strong knowledge of Philippine OSH laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., DOLE OSH Standards, RA 11058) -Experience in implementing safety management systems, hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation -Familiarity with high-risk activities such as electrical works, confined space, working at heights, lifting operations, and battery systems safety -Knowledge of fire safety, emergency response planning, and hazardous materials handling (including lithium-ion battery risks) -Ability to conduct safety inspections, audits, and toolbox meetings -Strong documentation and reporting skills (incident reports, safety reports, compliance records) -Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to enforce safety compliance among workers and contractors -Proficient in MS Office and safety reporting tools Willing to be assigned on-site and work in shifting schedules if required
