What You'll Do
What the role involves
The Procurement Specialist – HVAC & Refrigeration is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing suppliers of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, parts, and services. The role ensures cost efficiency, technical compliance, and timely availability of materials to support operations and maintenance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Source and procure HVAC and refrigeration equipment, spare parts, and related services Evaluate suppliers based on technical specifications, quality, price, and reliability Prepare and process purchase requests (PR), purchase orders (PO), and technical documentation Review and validate technical requirements in coordination with engineering or maintenance teams Conduct price canvassing, cost analysis, and supplier negotiations Ensure timely delivery and proper coordination of materials and services Monitor supplier performance, warranties, and service agreements Maintain supplier database and technical product references Ensure compliance with procurement policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Support inventory planning for critical HVAC and refrigeration components Prepare procurement reports, cost savings analysis, and vendor evaluations
What We're Looking For
You might be a fit if…
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Supply Chain, or related field At least 1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, or MEP-related items Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and technical specifications is required Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Proficient in MS Excel and procurement systems Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Good communication and coordination with technical teams
