What You'll Do
What the role involves
Malaysia Only. We are looking for a proactive, eager-to-learn PR, Marketing or Events Intern to join our growing team in Malaysia. In this role, you will get hands-on exposure to media relations, digital campaign coordination, and marketing events while working closely with the Country Lead. Key Responsibilities * Public Relations & Media Support: Assist with media relations and pitch efforts targeted at Malaysian media outlets. * Media Monitoring & Reporting: Track press coverage, and maintain an updated media database. * Digital Marketing Coordination: Support online marketing initiatives, content scheduling, and digital brand presence for VRITIMES Malaysia. * Event Operations: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company marketing events and industry networking functions. * Regional Collaboration: Coordinate virtually with cross-border team members on regional platform developments.
What We're Looking For

Requirements & Qualifications * Field of Study: Pursuing or completed a diploma/degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Event Management, Media Studies, or a related field. * Industry Understanding: Basic knowledge of PR fundamentals, digital marketing concepts, event coordination, and the Malaysian media landscape. * Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a plus). * Work Ethic: Highly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a flexible, remote (work-from-home) environment. * Mindset: Eager to learn, open to constructive feedback, and proactive in taking on new challenges. * Flexibility: Willing and able to travel locally to attend marketing events on an occasional basis.
