DevOps Specialist – Join the Engine Behind Next-Gen Mining Operations

RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop, code, script, build, install, configure, and maintain solutions and infrastructure that simplify and shorten the software development, testing, and deployment process. - Marshall and continually improve our automated build system to ensure development software flows smoothly from day to day. - Devise and execute plans to ensure engineers are using the most appropriate version management, compilation, quality, and delivery systems. You know what’s coming and already have a rollout plan. - Maintain flexible configuration management systems to deliver scheduled and unscheduled updates whilst honouring in-place quality gates. - Consult with internal stakeholders to manage changes such as compiler upgrades, for example. - Work with our IT people EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL - A Computer Science degree or equivalent in a maths- or science-based discipline. - At least 5 years’ proven experience as a DevOps engineer or software engineer with a DevOps focus, including Practical experience of maintaining and improving development support systems, primarily in Azure, secondarily in AWS. - Developing tools to automate and simplify the software development process in a production coding environment. - Managing DevOps business changes, such as the rollout of new technologies. - Working knowledge of Java application build, test and deployment in a multi-branch production coding environment, focussing on Maven, Kubernetes and Git (Github). - Administrator-level experience of Git (Github) and Microsoft’s Team Foundation Server® and Git®. - Act as the glue between IT operations and engineering, you enjoy working with different people across multiple technical disciplines. - You are process-oriented and need to understand a problem before trying to fix it.   EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS – ADVANTAGEOUS - Experience in the deployment of modern Java application server technologies (JEE, Spring Boot) and front-end technologies (React) - Experience in the deployment of modern .NET desktop application (C# and VB.NET), web server (C#) and front-end technologies (Blazor) - Experience in managing database hosting – Oracle, PostegreSQL, and SQL Server - Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform - Experience with both Linux and MS operating systems - Experience with both Azure and AWS hosting platforms - Experience with Agile and Waterfall development contexts - Knowledge of laboratories and mining BENEFITS - THR - BPJS K - BPJS TK - Private Health Insurance Provided for complete package and covers both spouse & 2 Kids - Annual Bonus Provided - Internet Reimbursement - Laptop provided as working tools "
